To get from JFK Airport to New York City, you have several options. These include taxis, trains, and the subway.
The best way to get from JFK Airport to New York City depends on whether saving time or saving money is your top priority.
If you would rather save time and it’s not rush hour, taking a taxi from JFK to New York City is the best option. However, taxis are more expensive than public transport and there are often very long lines at the taxi ranks outside the airport terminals.
If you would rather save money, taking a train or the subway to New York City is the best option. Trains and the subway from JFK Airport to New York City take longer than taxis, but are far less expensive. They also connect to other modes of transport once you arrive in the city center.
